NSW Health has raised concerns over traces of the coronavirus detected at the Broken Hill sewage treatment plant, despite no known cases in the region.
The plant serves about 9900 people and has prompted authorities to urge all those in the area to monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if any appear.
No venues in the region have been added to the exposure sites list as yet but NSW Health, in its alert on Friday night, updated venues of concern in parts of Newcastle and Dubbo.
Anyone who dined at R-Harn Thai Eatery in Jesmond on Monday 9 August between 5.35pm to 6pm must immediately get tested and isolate until receiving further advice from NSW Health.
While anyone who attended the following venues at the times listed is a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days since they were there, regardless of the result:
- Jesmond: Priceline Pharmacy, Shop 42/133 Blue Gum Road on Wednesday 4 August between 12:50pm to 12:55pm
- Dubbo: Bawrunga Medical Services, 2/207 Brisbane Street on Wednesday 4 August between 4:45pm to 5:45pm
- Dubbo: Snap Fitness Gymnastic Area, 113 Darling St on Tuesday 10 August between 4:30pm to 5:30pm
- Dubbo: Dubbo Sportsworld, 163 Sheraton Road on Tuesday 10 August between 4:45pm to 6:00pm
- Dubbo: Blues Meats, 91 Tamworth Street on Wednesday 11 August between 1:20pm to 1:30pm
- Dubbo: United Petrol Station, 195 Cobra Street on Thursday 12 August between 12:20pm to 12:40pm

Dubbo exposure sites grow
Earlier on Friday Bunnings, McDonald's and Dan Murphy's were named among new coronavirus exposure sites in Dubbo.
A confirmed case of COVID-19 in the regional New South Wales town has led to a number of popular locations being listed as a close contact site by NSW Health.
If you've attended the following venues in the flagged times, you'll need to get tested and isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.

School athletics carnival sends dozen into isolation
All students and staff who went to a Newcastle athletics carnival have been thrust into isolation after a confirmed case of COVID-19 attended.
Several public school staff and students visited The Hunter Sports Centre at Glendale, Lake Macquarie on Tuesday, August 3 between 9.30am and 12.30pm to participate in the Crossroads Zone Athletics Carnival.
The confirmed case has not attended any of the participating schools and there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in these schools.

However, NSW Health has advised that all students and staff who attended the Crossroads Zone Athletics Carnival during this time are classified as casual contacts.
"The sports carnival was an approved activity in line with COVID-safe guidelines in place on 3 August," a spokesperson said.
