A skydiver has died after making an uncontrolled landing on the New South Wales Mid North Coast.
Paramedics performed CPR on the man, aged in his 70s, when they arrived at Taree Airport following the crash landing about 11.45am today.
He was taken to Manning-Base Hospital but died a short time later.
A crime scene has been established and police are making inquiries.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau have been notified and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
