Dozens of Sydney primary school students tested for coronavirus

All students in Year 3 at a Sydney primary school are being tested for coronavirus after an infected girl went to class.

In a letter to parents, St Charles Waverley Catholic School principal Paul Croker said a special testing facility run by NSW Health nurses had been set up in the school hall.

Both Year 3 students and their parents have access to tests.

St Charles Waverley Catholic School students are being tested after a girl infected with COVID-19 went to class.

The school has been closed and the rest of the students will work remotely tomorrow.

It is also working with NSW Health to identify close contacts and will notify students and parents once that has happened.

Today the Bondi Junction cluster grew to 21, and ten new local cases were reported by NSW Health.
